1. the summer palace颐和园
颐和园是中国现存规模最大、保存最完整的皇家园林，中国四大名园（另三座为承德避暑山庄、苏州拙政园、苏州留园）之一。坐落于于北京市海淀区，距北京城区15公里，占地约290公顷。是在昆明湖、万寿山的基础上建立起来，并参照以杭州西湖的风景，汲取江南园林的设计风格而建成的一座大型天然公园，被誉为皇家园林博物馆。
2. the yuquan hill 玉泉山
玉泉山是北京著名景点之一，位于颐和园西五六里。玉泉山六峰连缀、逶迤南北，山顶是西山东麓的支脉，在“山之阳”。因这里泉水水清而碧，澄洁似玉，故此称为“玉泉”。明初王英作诗曰：“山下泉流似玉虹，清泠不与众泉同”来说明玉泉的特点。这座山也因此称为“玉泉山”。
3. the wanshou hill 万寿山
万寿山为燕山余脉，前临昆明湖。建筑群依山而建，旧的建筑在英法联军攻占北京后被烧毁，现有的建筑是后来慈禧命令重新建造的。从山脚的“云辉玉宇”牌楼，经过排云门、二宫门、排云殿、德辉殿、佛香阁、最后到达山顶的智慧海，形成一条中轴线。今之万寿山，在元朝称为名瓮山。传说有一位老人在山上掘出一装满宝物的石瓮而得名。

1. the yuexiu park 越秀公园
越秀公园位于广州市。公园主题为越秀山，西汉时因南越王赵佗曾在山上建“朝汉台”而得名。山上建有著名古迹镇海楼，又名五层楼，楼分五层，高28米，登楼远眺，可俯瞰整个广州美景。园内还有古之楚庭、佛山牌坊、古城墙、四方炮台、中山纪念碑、孙中山读书治事处碑、伍廷芳墓、明绍武君臣冢、海员亭、五羊石像、五羊传说雕塑像群、球形水塔、电视塔等。元代以来被称为羊城八景之一，每天有大量游人前去游玩。南国美景让人流连忘返。
2. the five-goat statue 五羊石像
“五羊石像”是广州最著名的景点之一。由130多块花岗岩雕刻组砌而成，高11米，体积53立方米。石像中五羊各具形态，大山羊居中，昂首远眺，口中衔有谷穗，雄浑有力的羊角伸向半空，显得深沉、威武。余下四羊环列四周，或小羊跪乳、或母羊回首、或吃草饮水、或嬉戏打闹，形态可爱，栩栩如生。相传，古时候，五羊仙子降临广州，给羊城人民带来了吉祥与幸福，他们赠稻于平民，然后腾空而去，五羊化为巨石。人们将这个美好的传说世代相传下来，并建造石像以供纪念。
